After over 40 years in Montreal, Canada, I moved to Nosara in 2013 with my family “for a year or two”. We quickly fell in love with the country, willingly traded our skis and hockey skates for surfboards and fly rods, and built a home. Our two daughters attended Del Mar Academy, where I help raise money for scholarships so that more local kids can set their sights on higher education. I also co-founded Nosara Day Camp, which I ran for two fun and exhausting years. Prior to moving to Costa Rica, I worked as a consultant for 15 years managing research projects for conservation organizations and Canadian indigenous groups. I hold a Master in Business Administration and a BA in Geography. I speak English and French, and I feel like I will forever be working on my Spanish. Virginie De Wever, Owner/Partner
I was raised in Antwerp, Belgium where I studied medicine, worked as a doctor for 12 years and had three beautiful daughters. I was originally born in the Congo and perhaps that is why sunnier and more colorful places always appealed to me! After traveling to several parts of the world, I realized that Costa Rica - and especially Nosara - was and still is the perfect choice to live and raise my children. In Nosara, I volunteer on the Board of the Nosara Security Association, helping owners, renters, property managers, and realtors to understand crime prevention and keep our visitors and residents safe. I have lived in Nosara for 12 years and became an owner at Mango Property Management in 2014. I speak French, Dutch, Spanish, and English and am always ready to take on new challenges. Angela Rasbeary, Owner/Partner
I’ve always been drawn to coastal communities rooted in surf culture and well-being. Originally from Venice, California, I’ve lived in Hawaii, Santa Cruz, and San Diego before making Nosara home over a decade ago. That journey has shaped a clear understanding of what makes coastal communities special—from lifestyle and design to long-term value.
With over a 12 years of experience in Nosara property management and a background in project management, I bring practical insight and deep local knowledge to real estate, offering honest guidance with an eye toward quality, lifestyle fit, and long-term value—whether clients are buying solo, with partners or friends, or as a family.
I also manage a small portfolio of vacation rentals, providing firsthand perspective on investment performance, guest experience, and thoughtful property care. A mom to a teenage son raised in Nosara, I enjoy sharing a grounded, family-focused view of the community. Outside of work, I enjoy lap swimming, ocean-view dining, and photography.
